Company Gifts & Presentations
We can supply specially-wrapped gifts for just about every occasion from a 21st birthday celebration to a retirement party and all manner of anniversaries in between. In addition, we can also provide a bespoke service ideal to mark a special company event or long-service award for a member of staff.

Complimentary Diamond Certification
The purchase of a diamond is a serious decision. In order to give you complete confidence in buying from us, we provide an independent diamond report from internationally respected gemmological laboratories to accompany your purchase. This we supply with all new diamonds weighing 0.50 carats and over. Our expert staff will be happy to guide you through the report and answer any queries.

Valuations
We carry out valuations for insurance, probate and sale between parties on the premises so you can be sure your jewellery is secure. Georga Anderson, our National Association of Jewellers registered valuer (FIRV) and Fellow of the Jewellery Valuers Association, has considerable experience in this field.

Our charges for valuations for insurance are: £45 for the first item, £18 for each succeeding item, plus 1.2% of the value, inclusive of VAT. All items are thoroughly cleaned and tested. Your valuation is presented in a bound cover and all items are accompanied by photographs.

Our charges for valuations for probate are identical except there is a 2.4% of the value charge.

Free Insurance
We give free insurance for twelve months against loss or damage with all purchases of diamond jewellery with a value of over £1,000 and under £5,000. Offer excludes ‘sale’ items.

Gemstone Testing
One of the questions most frequently asked of a jeweller is, ‘Is it real?’ as a customer hands over an item containing a gemstone. We have both experienced gemmologists and a well-equipped laboratory to provide you with a professional service.

Part Exchange & Commission Sales
We are always looking for fine examples of distinctive, antique and pre-owned jewellery and are therefore happy to consider any such item in part exchange. In addition, we also welcome the opportunity to offer for sale in one of our shops any item of jewellery on behalf of a customer. In return, we charge commission on the price realised.

Payments
We are happy to accept all major credit cards at our branches. If you are purchasing from outside the UK or would like to purchase an item without visiting a branch, payment can be made by cheque or electronic transfer. Please contact any branch for more details.

Refunds
We provide a fourteen day money back guarantee with all purchases (subject to the articles being in perfect condition) excluding coins, some earrings and items obtained on special order i.e. not from our existing stock.

Refurbishment, Repair & Servicing
When a precious item gets damaged or stops working, it can cause a great deal of distress – particularly if the item is of great sentimental value. However, our highly skilled craftsmen are expert at repairing jewellery and silver, as well as watches and clocks. Worn settings in a piece of jewellery merit a stitch in time to avoid loss of stones since these may not be covered by an insurance policy if the poor condition of the piece is ignored.

Re-modelling & Design
We are delighted to submit suggestions for both contemporary and classical designs for new pieces of jewellery and silver, including remodelling of a customer’s own jewellery.

Watch Warranty
We give a two-year warranty on all watches that we sell both new and secondhand. There is no warranty for secondhand watches dating back to pre-1950.
